About New Carlisle, Ohio
Established in 1810, New Carlisle has two major State Routes
intersecting in the middle of our community, SR 235 and SR 571, and
we are only 8 miles north of Interstate 70 and ten minutes from
Interstate 75.
New
The
City has been working hard on improving the appearance of our
downtown, to make it more welcoming to both new businesses and new
patrons. Streets are
being rebuilt, new street lighting has been added, and both new
pavers and trees add to the look.
Additionally, our water plant, finished
in 2006, is state of the art and has the capacity to more than meet
the needs of the City, well into the future.
New housing developments have sprung up, bringing our
citizens new choices in housing, from modest two bedroom
condominiums to $300,000 family homes and beyond.
New Carlisle has numerous recreational facilities available
featuring 6 baseball diamonds, an amphitheater, three basketball
courts, 5 play grounds, a skatepark, an outdoor, heated swimming
pool, 4 open picnic shelters, and 3 tennis courts. Our log
